Room Hiring

We have a wide range of rooms available for hire, starting at just £10 per hour and can seat up to 300 people. We can provide a wide range of seating arrangement and all the extras you need for your meeting – flip chart, refreshments and IT & audio facilities. Our ground floor includes room with movable walls so flexibility is assured. Huddersfield Mission is a fully accessible venue with step free access and a lift to upper floors.

Just three minutes from the railway station and on a bus route we are ideally located in the heart of Huddersfield. So whether you need a one-off meeting place or a home for your monthly meeting or even every week, we are the ideal location in Huddersfield

We have six small rooms which are suitable for groups from 2- 20 depending on layout

We have two medium rooms that seat 16 – 40 people depending on layout

We have two large rooms:

  • The theatre can seat up to 90, but also makes a great training venue for smaller groups.
  • Our main hall can seat up to 180 people. You can also hire the extended main hall to seat up to 300 people. Our main hall has a large projector and audio facilities.

We are able to accommodate a wide range of events from conferences, activity groups, small workshops and meetings. Ours rooms are available for hire either separately or in combination with a variety of possible furniture and layouts. We can provide flipchart, projects and free WiFi access.

With our own café on site, we can provide refreshment from simple tea and coffee to a full buffet.

Our computer room is newly refurbished with 10 laptops all with Windows 8. The IT suite is air conditioned and benefits from having an interactive white board for teaching.

The IT suite can be hired by groups and we also run open access session for individuals who want access to a computer.


Bookings Policy

Contact Reception between Monday - Friday 10am to 4pm to make a booking or request further information.

If you wish to provide your own refreshments you may hire the first floor kitchen for meetings on the 1st and 2nd floors, or hire a water boiler and crockery for the Ground Floor Meeting Room. 

Cancellation Policy

Two weeks notice is required for cancellations, or full room hire prices will be charged.

We are open Monday to Friday 9- 5 and Monday to Thursday evening. Room hire outside of these hours may also be available but may incur additional caretaker costs. We are the home for lots of local charities and voluntary organisations and we are pleased to offer a longer term booking discount for charities and voluntary organisations.
