The Daytime Café since the pandemic
Huddersfield Mission has been unable to operate as normal, therefore we have adapted the way we deliver our services.
Ready Meals
The Mission café is a casualty of the National Lockdown brought about because of the pandemic. Therefore we had to reinvent the way that we serve the community that rely on the Mission for support.
During lockdown #1 we were very active supporting community groups, therefore we ran a pilot project in conjunction with community groups across Dalton, Almondbury and Newsome during the summer holidays.
Once the restrictions began to ease on the lockdown we began a take away service because we were still not able to open the doors allow our customers to have a sit down meal.
As always the meals from the Mission are competitively priced to support the customer base that rely on the Mission to provide freshly made nutritional meals. This maybe the only meal that some individuals may have for the day therefore it has the nutritional value to support good health.
